Two platforms, two kinds of first impression
When people look for somewhere to buy followers, the real question is usually where a bigger number will do the most good. Instagram and TikTok are judged in different ways:
| Detail | TikTok | |
|---|---|---|
| How people find you | Profile visits, tags, search | One video in the For You feed |
| Number they notice first | Followers on the profile | Views and hearts on the video |
| Best first package | Followers | Views or followers |
| Followers from | $3.99 | $3.49 |
Three questions that settle it
- Where do people check you out before acting? If customers, clients or bookers look you up on Instagram, start there. If they meet you through a TikTok video, start with TikTok.
- Which account do you actually post on? Followers look believable on an account with recent posts. Put them on the one you’re active on, not the one you abandoned last year.
- Where is the mismatch? A profile with good posts and a small count benefits from followers. A profile with a fine count but quiet posts needs likes or views more than followers.
Instagram: the profile does the talking
Instagram is where customers check you out before they buy, book or follow. They land on the profile, read the bio and the follower count, and decide. That makes Instagram followers the most common first purchase, with likes as the follow-up for posts that matter.
TikTok: the video does the talking
On TikTok a stranger meets one video before anything else. Its play count and hearts set the tone; the profile matters once they tap through. That’s why it often makes sense to start with views on their best clip and add followers once the profile starts getting visits.
A sensible first order on each
Whichever platform you choose, size the first order to the account you have, not the one you want. On Instagram, a profile with a few hundred followers and a full grid can carry 1,000; one with a few dozen is better off with 100 or 500. On TikTok, look at your views first: if videos sit under a few hundred plays, start with 500 followers or some views rather than a big follower order. You can always add more later; you can’t take a too-large order back.
Prices side by side
| Followers | TikTok | |
|---|---|---|
| 100 | $3.99 | $3.49 |
| 500 | $9.99 | $9.49 |
| 1,000 | $13.99 | $14.99 |
| 5,000 | $34.99 | $39.99 |
| 10,000 | $59.99 | $69.99 |
TikTok is 50¢ cheaper at the small sizes; Instagram is cheaper from 1,000 up, by $10 at 10,000. Neither gap is big enough to decide the platform for you. Pick the platform first, then the size.
One budget, two different answers
Two hypothetical people with about $25 each:
A hair stylist who books through Instagram
Clients find her through tags and local search, look at the grid, then send a message. Her TikTok is mostly for fun. The money goes on Instagram: 1,000 followers ($13.99) and 250 likes on her newest before-and-after reel ($3.99), $17.98 in all.
A gamer whose clips travel on TikTok
His clips already pick up a couple of thousand views each, but the profile sits at 300 followers and his Instagram is empty. TikTok first: 1,000 followers ($14.99) and 10,000 views on the clip he most wants new people to see ($9.99), $24.98 together.
If you fit one of these
- Running a business: followers for business covers what a count can and can’t do for a shop or service, and the US FTC’s 2024 rule on fake reviews, which also covers buying fake social media indicators to misrepresent influence for commercial purposes. We’re not lawyers, but read it before you use a follower count in a sales pitch.
- Releasing music: followers for musicians deals with the gap between a follower count and actual listeners.
- Starting from zero: followers for new accounts explains why smaller, staged orders work better.
Choose a platform in the order box.
Pick a platformWhat every package has in common
- A username or a link, never a password.
- First batch usually within minutes, the rest paced.
- 30 days of free refills, and refunds for anything undelivered.
- Secure hosted checkout with card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Each package goes to one profile, post or video, and one checkout can hold up to ten packages, Instagram and TikTok mixed. Followers need only a public username; likes and views need a link to one public post or video. The checkout shows a preview of the profile before you pay.
What buying followers won’t do
On either platform, a package changes the number on the profile. It doesn’t bring people who watch, comment or buy, and it doesn’t make the platform show your posts to more people. Both Instagram’s and TikTok’s rules discourage artificial growth, and both remove accounts they consider inauthentic, so some of what you buy may drop away. The 30-day refill covers that.
